Confirm the business Page and approved logo
Check the business name and Page before choosing an image. Use your normal Page access and the identity actually approved for that business. A different Page or an old version can make a successful upload the wrong result.
| Field | What to confirm |
|---|---|
| Page | The exact business Page. |
| Identity | The approved company mark. |
| Copy | A separate file for this task. |
| Reference | The original artwork for comparison. |
Do not substitute Facebook artwork for your business logo. If you need a smaller approved variation, name that need before changing the logo yourself.
Use business Page profile guidance
Meta recommends 320 by 320 pixels for the Page profile image and says it is cropped to a circle. This is a recommendation, not a universal upload minimum.

These instructions refer to the Page profile picture. Cover images and personal profile advice belong to other fields. If your upload screen gives an error, compare it with the current Page guidance rather than borrow numbers from a different field.
Check the complete mark inside the circle
- Keep the approved source unchanged.
- Prepare the copy for this profile with the full mark in proportion.
- View it within the round profile crop.
- Inspect the farthest letters and symbol edges.
- Check dots, accents and an intended tagline.
| Part | Question |
|---|---|
| Outside letters | Is either end hidden? |
| Emblem | Is its whole outline present? |
| Small marks | Did any dot or accent leave the visible area? |
| Inside gaps | Can intended details still be seen? |
Leave suitable room rather than squeeze the mark to fit. There is no universal safe margin in this worksheet. If the full name cannot read in that space, request an approved smaller arrangement.
Choose and identify the copy for this profile
Meta says logos or text may get a better result with PNG. It does not require PNG for every image.

Give the prepared copy a clear purpose name and keep the original. Compare the actual selected file with your reference before saving the Page change.
If the file is rejected, read the error and check that same copy. Do not guess the cause from the name alone or change the approved artwork to satisfy an unrelated cover image rule.
Review the saved Page after the change
- Open the intended saved business Page.
- Check the small displayed mark rather than only the large preview.
- Compare the circle edge, name and symbol with the reference.
- Inspect another screen view when available.
- Record the filename and actual result of your check.
If a detail is missing, return to the copy for this profile and its crop. Keep the intended identity intact. Finish when the correct Page shows the complete approved mark at its actual display size.
