Choose the approved company mark
Confirm the company Page and the approved identity before preparing the image. A company logo field is for your business mark, not a download of LinkedIn artwork.
Use the full logo or an icon variation that was actually approved. If a long name cannot fit, do not silently turn one letter into a new symbol. Keep that design choice separate.
| Field | What to confirm |
|---|---|
| Page | The company and Page you manage. |
| Version | The approved mark selected for it. |
| Copy | A distinct file for this upload. |
| Open question | Any missing small version or unclear wording. |
Read the current company Page specifications
LinkedIn company Page guidance checked on 10 October 2026 gives these logo specifications. Recheck the official page if the upload interface asks for something different.
| Field | Requirement or recommendation |
|---|---|
| Minimum dimensions | 268 by 268 pixels. |
| Recommended dimensions | 400 by 400 pixels. |
| Image type | PNG or JPEG. |
| Maximum file size | 3 MB. |

These numbers belong to the company Page logo field. Do not use an old size from another guide or transfer a cover image requirement to this image.
Prepare a square copy for this profile
- Keep the approved original unchanged.
- Make a square copy for the Page logo.
- Place the whole mark inside it with its proportions intact.
- Check small marks and any intended tagline.
- Leave room rather than force the mark to fill every edge.
A square image does not require a square logo shape. Judge the complete artwork inside it. If the name becomes too small, ask for an approved variation that suits the space.
Check the actual backdrop
LinkedIn says transparent logo images appear on a white background and asks for light and dark background testing.

Inspect the actual Page result instead of assuming it will look like an editor preview. Keep intended white artwork. A white background on the platform is not permission to erase inside details.
Review the saved company Page
- Use the selected copy in the intended Page logo field.
- Inspect the upload preview and save the change.
- Open the saved company Page.
- Compare the small logo display with the approved source.
- Check a phone view and a wide screen view when available.
If the file is rejected, read the actual error and inspect that same file type, dimensions and size. If the wrong mark appears, stop and check the selected Page and version.
Finish when the saved intended Page shows the whole approved copy. Record its filename and the current requirements with the Page note so a future update starts from the right file.
